Ten years ago I wrote the following article as an Immortal Memory for our local Burns Supper

I submitted it to the old World Burns Club web site (now the online home of the Federation), as well as the Alexandria Burns Club, the second club in the Federation. I will post it here for everyone to peruse, but mind you, it's not a definitive article! <grin>

Thanks very much for posting that link Todd. It was a very good article in my humble opinion. Now I finally understand the confusion.

You see, I visited St. James in Tarbolton, and at the same time it is also referred to as St David's. Of course I have also been to Kilwinning. If you have not done so, it is a unforgettable experience to visit both lodges, and dwell there for a while, with the brethern of today, while Burns is standing somewhere in the shadows smiling at you. Of course, a wee dram is obligatory in Kilwinning .

greetings from Rotterdam, Betty
