Founding of a Dynasty Sun 16 May

Romans, Vikings, medieval, royal and military characters

spanning over 2,000 years of Scotland’s rich, vibrant and

turbulent history.

starting with the marching and drilling of Roman soldiers

12 May, Dark Skies events

 8.00pm - 10.00pm Join Keith Muir from Forestry Commission Scotland at Kirroughtree visitor centre for a talk on the night sky. Free.

 

 

30 May, 11.00am (daytime event) Want to know what you can see in the night sky this week, such as constellations, planets, or shooting stars? Members of the Wigtownshire Astronomical Society will give a short presentation at Kirroughtree Visitor Centre. The event is free but donations to Wigtownshire Astronomical Society are welcomed.
