About Me

"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything" Plato.

2010 A musician since childhood with classical training in piano and other instruments, Tommie's musical education and influences have travelled through jazz and blues to rock and reggae with lots of stops along the way.  Tommie graduated from the Royal Academy of Music at a very young age and music is her life.

Tommie writes, plays and sings her own style of blues and jazz, accoustic songs and instrumentals and occasionally rock and arranges and produces all works released so far.  Final mastering of the recorded works is done in New York.

With a catalogue of over 100 songs as yet unreleased, Tommie revealed herself to the music world only in October 2008 with the release of her first ever single,'Can't Leave You Alone' which rocketed from nowhere to number seven in the Reverbnation Blues chart and is still hovering there in the top 20.

Subsequent releases resulted in three simultaneous number one positions in three separate charts on Song Vault and in the Jazz Network featuring Tommie and her music in their front page 'spotight' for 4 months.

A lot of learning and some very hard work is now culminating in the imminent release of Tommie's first album very shortly, with 3 already released blues tracks plus 7 completely new ones.

Fellow musicians and fans alike have responded to Tommie's different style with warmth, friendship and acclaim and it's hoped that the album will get an equally good reception.

And - for a forthcoming film of Robbie Burns' life in mind, Tommie released her own take on Red Red Rose, a very special song.  Then, in memory of her father a Mayo man, and specially for St. Pat's Day 2009, a new take on Macushlah.

Both these 'traditional' songs plus Tommie's own version of Love Letters, can be heard at:

where there is also the song Good Day which is now on national television in the USA on a daily talk show.
